Michael Stewart has been around bird dogs all his life. At age 9 he
got his first bird dog, an English Pointer. He has since owned
several breeds to include a Brittany, German Shorthair, English
Setter, Llewelin Setter, Irish Setter, and obtained his first Gordon
Setter in 1983. Mike feels the Gordon Setter is the finest personal
foot dog of all the pointing breeds, and is the most handsome as
well.
The lineage of the Gordons at Rising Fawn kennels are from pure
hunting stock, with intensity in the field, yet mild-mannered
personal family dogs
All pups are guaranteed for health and hips. Pups receive their first
set of shots at 6 weeks, and again at 7 weeks. We like to place our
pups at weeks 7-9.
Our breeding dogs are all hunters, with outstanding field
performance.
